Helpers needed for Woolworths NSG NET Winter Competition 2025 NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 9. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball or chuck on a bib. It’s a learning experience. And a lot of fun. SCNA is looking to fill a number of positions for our NetSetGo Net competition this year. We need a NetSetGo Net coordinator and a number of helpers (14+) to run the Net program and to assist our coordinator with this program. When: Saturday mornings 8:45am (set up) with the program running from 9am @ SCNA courts. The NET program will commence on Saturday 3rd May 2025 and conclude on Saturday 31st August 2025. We expect that the program will run for an hour from 9am. (Time to be confirmed) We will not be running during school holidays or on the King's Birthday Weekend. It is expected that the coordinator/helpers will be available for most if not all weeks of the program. Registrations for our NetSetGo Net program are now open. Our Net program is for 5-7 year olds. in This is an introductory skills based program and the participant will not be playing full games. The program runs on Saturday mornings from 3rd May - 31st August 2023. with breaks for long weekends and school holidays. As you may be aware, Netball ACT is marking its 50th anniversary as a member organisation in the ACT this year. During ROUND 5 of the HCF State League, we're hosting a heritage round. We plan to set up displays in the foyer area of the center featuring past state uniforms, balls, etc. We're reaching out to see if anyone has original or old playing uniforms they'd be willing to lend for this occasion. We are looking for Association uniforms as well as Netball ACT uniforms. These will be showcased on mannequins. I will only need playing uniforms with bibs if possible. If you can drop off your uniform to NACT by Monday 5th May, that would be fantastic. All uniforms can be picked up the following Monday 12th May. Any questions, please let me know. SCNA is looking for a new assistant Junior Representative Junior coordinator for 2025 This is a volunteer role with SCNA. You would be looking after the under 14 and under 15 squads. You would be working with the under 11-13 squad coordinator and our Executive Representative coordinator.
